I really liked it, but it was a little sparse at the end of the story. I was dying to hear a bit more about the courtship. Even if it was just a few sentences to tie the date and the present together more seamlessly. Oh, and by the way...lucky you!

Good story, very "Bridget Jones" but I would cut out some of the cliches. The line where you said it felt as if "fairy dust fell from the heavens" was a little too much.
